Thanks to modern technology it is now possible to have an effective facelift without going under the knife and these procedures deliver just as good a result but with minimum downtime, discomfort and at a fraction of the cost. Today, most surgeons and cosmetic doctors pay closer attention to the volume in your face because restoring contours rather than eliminating every line is what makes your face look younger.
There are a number of options but I suggest the French Lift. This is a minimally invasive procedure that uses a deeply placed stitch to reposition and lift sagging tissue in the cheek and jowls. The procedure is performed using local anesthetic and takes about an hour. You’ll be swollen and bruised for about a week, but can return to normal life after two weeks and will see final results at about six weeks.
Alternatively, an injectable liquid facelift can give your skin the kiss of life by creating a younger plumper look as well as addressing concerns like wrinkles and volume loss. Botox will soften line around eyes and mouth and lift brows and even the jaw area while some well-placed dermal filler will lift the cheek pads and fill deeper wrinkles. You may have a little redness at the injection sites for a day or two but it is easily covered with mineral make up.
