Is it okay to store my anti ageing cream in the fridge during hot spells?
Yes, lower temperatures are usually much better for creams and gels, particularly if they can contain vitamin C, as it can help prevent oxidation. Eye creams and gels are particularly good when stored in the fridge as the chilled cream will constrict blood vessels, helping to ease any under eye puffiness. Keep after sun lotion, sunscreen and body moisturisers in the fridge too, as these will give hot skin a soothing touch. However, please don’t store any facial oils in the fridge as cold temperatures can thicken the oil and ruin the consistency.
