Lesley’s tips about tanning…

Instant wash-off tans can be just the thing for a glam event. They’re a little easier to apply than self-tanners that develop over time as you can see where you’re putting them – although you should still follow the same rules to prepare your skin.

They;re really good for camouflaging minor blemishes and if they have a touch of shimmer, they look great on legs and across the decolletage. Be careful not to apply too much on your face. I apply mine to my brow bone and cheeks for a natural-looking glow. My all-time favourite is Rimmel Sun Shimmer, which comes in six shades and is available in most high-street chemists. Did I mention it’s also a total bargain?
