Stubborn Cellulite

Cellulite is the stubborn bumpy fat that clings to our thighs (and every woman’s worst enemy) It┬átargets women of all ages, shapes and sizes. The effect is often described as cottage cheese or orange peel skin… but I prefer to think of it as like a pocket-sprung mattress. It is actually bulging fat cells enveloped between layers of fibrous tissue. As these fat cells become larger, because of weight gain, hormonal changes or water retention, they squeeze the connective tissues, causing the skin above to pucker and the lymphatic drainage system that removes fluids, toxins and fat naturally is unable to function efficiently.

Massage is one of your best options… it helps improve the appearance of dimply thighs.

Brush up! Dry body brushing helps reduce the appearance of cellulite by improving the texture of your skin.

Keep moving! Staying active is very important. Regular exercise helps your whole body function better, boosting circulation and helping to remove excess toxins from skin tissue.

Junk the junk food! Try to eliminate alcohol and caffeine from your diet- and give nicotine the boot too! You should also ditch processed foods, ready meals and fast food!

Drink LOTS of water! Water helps to keep our whole body functioning properly.

Fake it. Tanned legs look slimmer and sexier… and somehow cellulite, veins and blemishes don’t appear quite so obvious. Have a spray tan- fake is the only way to go!
