If you spend all day hunched over your phone or tablet it could have an unexpected side-effect which has been dubbed “tech neck”.

Repeatedly looking down at handheld devices over a long period of time can shorten the neck muscles and increase the gravitational pull on the jowl area, leading to sagging and deep lines appearing.

Research conducted by Yves Saint Laurent has revealed that gazing down at our digital devices is causing a 50 per cent increase in lines and wrinkles in the lower face and neck area.
